Every gift makes a difference. The Cattlemen for Cancer sponsor two events each year.

Cattle Auction - October 16, 2010

 Cattle auction held annually at Hills Prairie Livestock Auction, Inc. (map).  Registration begins at 10:30a.m.  Plan to spend the day.  Includes a silent auction and a BBQ lunch.

Sausage Stampede - 2010                                      

The Sausage Stampede is an annual 5k Walk/Run & a 1k Kid's walk held in Elgin, TX.  The proceeds benefit the Cattle for Cancer Research Patient Assistance program and the Elgin Chamber of Commerce.  The fun begins at 8:00am.

Western Gala - March 27, 2010                               

This event helped raise over $6000 for Cancer Research at the Keeling Center and for the Cancer Research Patient Assistance program in 2009.  The event, held in the S.P.J.S.T. Hall in Elgin, Tx each year, features a steak dinner with music and dancing.  Come hungry and ready to two-step.

Throughout the year                                               

• Donate cattle at your local auction facility in the name of CCR.

• Making a direct contribution to the CCR either as a Sponsor Donation, an In-Kind Donation, or a Cattle Donation.  The pdf donation form can be read by most browsers.

You can designate your donation in memory or in honor of a special person. For information on making a donation or for more auction details, please see Request Information on this website and specify that you want information about the Cattlemen for Cancer Research program. You can also download a CCR donation form, fill it in, and mail it back to the address shown.
